Bewdley Festival Exhibition annual exhibition this year features a retrospective of the work of Claire Spencer RBSA.

This exhibition celebrates the life and work of Claire Spencer, a remarkable local artist whose career spanned more than six decades. Best known for her atmospheric landscape paintings, particularly in pastel, Claire exhibited widely throughout the UK and internationally, earning a reputation as one of the region’s most accomplished artists. Inspired by the natural world and her extensive travels, her work captures both the beauty and fragility of the landscape with great sensitivity and skill. Claire continued to draw and paint throughout her life, leaving behind a rich artistic legacy that continues to inspire and engage audiences today.
