Onsite learning packages
We offer fun and educational days out, not just for schools but for groups of all ages too. Our pre-booked guided tours of the museum have proven increasingly popular with Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, Rainbows, Brownies and Guides.
Schools and groups are very welcome throughout the year but we recommend that you make contact with us at least 2 weeks before your visit to ensure that everything you require will be available on the day.
The museum has a range of boxes featuring different periods in history which we loan out. They support the National Curriculum and are perfect for demonstrations in classes or just for general interest. Each box comes with an information leaflet complete with teaching notes. Loan boxes are available to any group, not just schools.
