Saturday 17 October, 10am–4pm
Hayes Farm will be joining us for the day, bringing a selection of apples grown in their orchards. Visitors will have the opportunity to sample different apple varieties and taste locally produced apple juice while learning more about the orchards and the work of the volunteers who help care for them.
If you discover a new favourite, a range of apples and bottles of Hayes Farm apple juice will be available to purchase during the event. Hayes Farm apple juice is also stocked in the Museum Gift Shop throughout the year.
The Garden Kitchen Café will be celebrating the season with a selection of apple-inspired treats, making it the perfect opportunity to enjoy the flavours of autumn while exploring the museum.
Whether you are interested in local produce, traditional orchards, or simply looking for a family-friendly day out, this is a chance to discover the variety and heritage of one of our most familiar fruits.
