Volunteering - can you help?
The museum currently enjoys help from approximately 40 volunteers. They are invaluable to the operation of the museum and are involved with;
- Helping with activities
- Helping at events
- Claypipe demonstrations
- Ropemaking demonstrations
- Gardening
- Helping with exhibitions
- Helping at weddings
- Historical research
- Collections care and cataloguing
- Manning the air raid shelter
- Visitor research
Previous experience is not required and we are always delighted to hear from anyone who would like to get involved.
