Heritage Open Day
On Saturday, 13 September to celebrate Heritage Open Days 2025, we have got a day of fun planned at the museum.
Duo Rose will be treating you to two performances in the foyer from: 11am-11.45am and 1.45pm-2.30pm. Duo Rose is a refined violin and cello duo offering elegant, live string music for luxury weddings and events. Blending timeless classics with contemporary sophistication, we provide a beautifully tailored soundtrack for life’s most memorable moments.
We will also be doing two rope demonstrations at 11am and 2pm and thanks to our wonderful team of volunteers, we will be opening our one-of-a-kind air raid shelter. Come along to hear true life stories and investigate what it would have really felt like to be down in the shelter during a bombing raid.
The Museum is free to attend.
Take some time to wander through the Shambles, galleries, display areas, and craft workshops to learn about the Bewdley story, the River Severn, and its trades. Stop off for a refreshment break in the Garden Kitchen Cafe and take a leisurely stroll through the beautiful gardens into the refurbished Brass Foundry and find out how the foundry workers made brass.
