Join Kerri, the Heritage Crafter, for this beginner’s class, learning how to paint flowers in the traditional 'Roses and Castles' canal art style. You’ll be working on your own mug which you will take home at the end of the session.

In this workshop, Kerri will cover a bit of history as well as development of the art, what kit you need (and how to treat it right!) and the Braunston style roses and daisies

Enjoy a slice of cake and cup of tea or coffee included.

All materials provided. Please wear old clothes or bring an apron for painting.

Kerri specialises in traditional decorative art techniques such as signwriting, canal art and gilding. She learned her craft the traditional way - at the knee of a master – studying with craftspeople at the top of their game. Kerri champions Heritage Crafts constantly, through workshops, school visits and talks and has featured on television programmes such as All Around Britain (ITV) and David and Jay’s Touring Toolshed (BBC).
