Bewdley Museum Opens for the 2019 season with style and pizzazz!
Saturday 2 March 10am – 4.30pm
This FREE event see's the Museum's opening ceremony for the 2019 season accompanied by live music from The Naomi Hart's Hotsy-Totsy Band and a childrens’ entertainer present throughout the day.
The Museum Shop and Tourist Information Centre, re-opened for business on Monday 4 February however, The Shambles Cafe will also re-open offering the usual warming soups, pannini’s, hot breakfasts, jacket potatoes and of course their legendary home made scones.

The first exhibition to start off the season is called ‘Beautiful, peaceful, fruitful: Ruskin in Wyre’ which is running from Saturday 2 March until Thursday 18 April. This exhibition is located within the Wyre Forest Gallery and explores his connection with the Wyre Forest.
The ‘Orbiting the Earth’ is another exhibition running from Saturday 2 March – Monday 6 May. It celebrates 50 years of the first moon landings, another opportunity to see satellite images of the local area.
Visitors will have the opportunity to view rock samples collected by the Apollo missions of the late 1960s and early 1970s on the 2nd and 3rd of March.
