What's On at Bewdley Museum

The museum offers a varied programme of exhibitions and events throughout the year with appeal for all ages. The temporary exhibitions are showcased in the Severn and Wyre Forest Galleries and cover both local topics and touring exhibitions. 

During the school holidays we offer various themed craft activities for children, view holiday timetables for more information.

Spring Bank Holiday Childrens Craft Activities

China ‘Poems and Paintings’

8 June – 7 July

An exhibition by artist Glynis Wilson of brush paintings of birds, flowers, landscapes and calligraphy in the different styles found in Chinese culture.

Cherry Fair and 1940’s Weekend

Saturday 20 and Sunday 21 July

A Nightmare at the Museum

Saturday 26 October

A Nightmare at the Museum featuring a show by Flip and Dippy at 5.30pm-6.30pm a Disco 6.30pm-8pm a spooktacular garden trail, with apple bobbing, unlucky dip and spooky skittles. Pumpkin judging at 7pm, bring your own pumpkins. £5 per person or £17.50 for a family of 4.

Autumn Half Term Childrens Craft Activities

Monday 28  - Friday 31 October

Half term craft activities for Children at Bewdley museum, daily from 11am unitl 3.30pm £4 per person. Children must be supervised.

Panto Time

Saturday 7 December

Panto time by Fun Time Theatre featuring Snow White, showing time 3.30pm- 4.15pm. Cost £6 per person or £22 per family of 4.

Father Christmas Weekend and Craft Fair

Saturday 14 and Sunday 15 December

The Craft Fair will be open 10am - 4.30pm. and Father Christmas will be available to see between 12noon and 4pm (last admission to see Santa at 3.30pm) Cost is £5 per person; to include a gift.

Workshops and Craft Courses

Art & Craft Workshops

The Museum offers a wide range of workshops for all ages. Young people can enjoy fun craft based activities in a safe environment from quick taster session to full one day workshops. Adults can find their creative side by learning new skills with expert tuition from our resident craft workers.
