What's On at Bewdley Museum

The museum offers a varied programme of exhibitions and events throughout the year with appeal for all ages. The temporary exhibitions are showcased in the Severn and Wyre Forest Galleries and cover both local topics and touring exhibitions. 

During the school holidays we offer various themed craft activities for children, view holiday timetables for more information.

Music in the Garden

Ruskin in the Wyre

FREE Exhibition

An exhibition to launch a community-based project to tell the story of Ruskin Land in the Wyre Forest, given to John Ruskin's Guild of St George almost 150 years ago.

Bewdley Heritage Festival

Saturday 9 and Sunday 10 September

Bewdley Town Council, Bewdley Museum, Wyre Community Land Trust, Bewdley Civic Society, Bewdley Choral Society and Bewdley Rowing Club will present a programme of events celebrating the Town's Culture and Heritage.

Stunning Landscapes from Space - how satellites see the Geopark

Saturday 22 July – Sunday 24 September

FREE Exhibition

Space satellites now provide exquisite photographic detail of the Earth’s surface. This exhibition shows your local landscape of hills, rivers and rocks as never seen before

FREE Exhibition

An annual exhibition featuring the work of a local artist

Harvest Fair Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 October. 

To include live music from Bryn Teeling Saturday 7th Oct and Worcester Ukele Band on Sunday 8th October between 1pm and 3.30pm.

Including apple pie competition. Submit pies into the Sawyard area by 12.30pm. Activities for children include apple hunt. Craft stalls from 10-4pm in the foyer. If you are interested in having a stall you can book a trade stall online.

Saturday 28 October, show 5.30pm and disco 6.30-7.30pm

£5 per person or £18 per family Ticket (2 adults and 2 children). Tickets available soon.

Family Fright night at the museum featuring Snow white and the Curse of Frankenstein,

Including apple bobbing, lucky dip, scary skittles and spooky trail. Children and adult fancy dress, prizes for the best dressed! Bring your own pumpkin for judging at 7pm, recommended age under 8.

Workshops and Craft Courses

Art & Craft Workshops

The Museum offers a wide range of workshops for all ages. Young people can enjoy fun craft based activities in a safe environment from quick taster session to full one day workshops. Adults can find their creative side by learning new skills with expert tuition from our resident craft workers.
